Sidekick Robotics Relocates Headquarters from Stanford, CA to Los Angeles, CA

LOS ANGELES, CA — Sidekick Robotics today announced that it has officially relocated its headquarters from Stanford, California to Los Angeles, California.

This strategic move reflects both the company's roots and its vision for the future. Los Angeles is home for the founders, whose Armenian heritage and early experiences in the city shaped their entrepreneurial journey. By returning to the community where they grew up, the company is committed to creating opportunities that extend beyond robotics innovation.

The relocation enables Sidekick Robotics to:

  • Hire top talent from the greater Los Angeles area
  • Collaborate with professional organizations
  • Support the rapidly growing Southern California tech ecosystem
  • Invest in the neighborhoods and small businesses that define its community

While the founders benefited from their time in the Bay Area — having studied at UC Berkeley and Stanford University — the move to Los Angeles represents a deliberate step to align Sidekick Robotics' growth with its values.

"Innovation should not only scale globally, it should also strengthen locally. Our decision to relocate reflects our roots and our desire to support the community that raised us," said Mark Ansell, Co-Founder of Sidekick Robotics.

Sidekick Robotics is proud to be part of a growing trend of homegrown tech companies — organizations that build world-class technology while investing in the places that made them.
